A working table, restored for the rituals of home. Used by Indonesian artisans from the 1800s to the early 1900s, weavers tables were low working surfaces for hand-weaving cloth.

Built close to the ground, their solid old teak timber form, raised joints and pegs helped anchor thread, cloth and tools through long periods of making. Each table has been hand restored, preserving the visible grain, worn edges, cracks, surface variation and old repair marks that speak to its former use.

Once, fabric, thread, tools and conversation. Now, books, vessels, cups, flowers and the rituals of a living room. The work has changed. The gathering remains.
