The Shelter Stackable Chair brings a fresh interpretation to nostalgic outdoor seating, drawing on the relaxed character of 1970s beach houses and Italian coastal resorts. Its compact silhouette is softened by intricate hand-woven detailing across the seat and back, bringing texture and depth to the streamlined frame.

Detailed weaving and binding give the chair definition from every angle, while generous dining proportions sit within a visually light footprint. Stackable construction adds practicality, allowing Shelter to adapt easily as seating requirements change.

Mineral brings a cooler, understated quality to the design and pairs naturally with teak and other warm outdoor materials. Use it as a single colourway or mix with Butter for subtle variation around the dining table.

Materials

Lightweight aluminium frame finished with an outdoor-grade powder coating. The seat and back combine hand-woven 100% Olefin flat webbing with rounded outdoor rope, with double-weaving and bound detailing for added strength and texture.

The woven material is designed to resist fading, UV exposure and weather-related ageing, creating a durable outdoor construction while retaining its soft, tactile character.

Care Instructions

Remove surface dust regularly using a soft, dry or damp cloth. For a deeper clean, gently wipe with mild soapy water, then rinse thoroughly with clean water. Attend to spills promptly. For oil-based marks, use a small amount of mild, diluted degreaser and rinse thoroughly, testing first on an inconspicuous area. Avoid brushes, abrasive materials, sharp objects, corrosive products, harsh chemicals and high-pressure cleaning, as these may damage the powder-coated or woven surfaces. While designed for outdoor use, we recommend protecting the chair from prolonged exposure to severe weather and covering or storing it in a dry, well-ventilated area when not in use for extended periods. Allow it to dry completely before covering or storing.
