Materials
Manau rattan is worked by hand to form the basket's woven structure and distinctive rounded shape.
The construction combines a woven rattan body with a fitted lid, creating a considered form with a practical everyday purpose.
A removable washable insert sits within the basket, providing a functional layer for storing laundry, linen and towels.
Natural variation in the Manau rattan means each piece will have its own tonal, textural and surface character.
The hand-shaped fabrication and natural material remain visible throughout, giving each basket its own individual character.
