Product Care

Fabric

  • To look after the fabric, vacuum regularly with an upholstery attachment, using low suction.
  • To maintain vibrancy, ensure to protect fabric from direct sunlight.
  • For the best and most even wear, we recommend not to favour one seat.
  • Professional dry cleaning is recommended every 6 months to help remove marks and to maintain the look of your sofa.
  • Please also note that when moving your sofa, do not lift it by the cushions sewn to the frame or move your sofa by dragging it around. The best way is to lift it from the base.

Leather

  • To maintain leather, dust weekly using a clean, dry and non-abrasive cloth.
  • Never allow leather to become wet.
  • If leather does get wet, do not dry the leather in direct sunlight or with a hair dryer.
  • Empire recommends you use a professional to clean your leather products.
  • If you choose to do this yourself, please seek assistance from the Empire Customer Care team and we can help if you have any questions.
